WE GOT HIM. this was my first trogon sighting and it was very exciting. you could hear them barking throughout the walk, and eventually heard them in some super dense trees. we waited there for around 15 minutes, listening for calls and catching glimpses of them in the trees. but eventually we decided to head back, only for this guy to land in a tree directly in our path. extremely cool moment! i love birds.
