I knew the singles from this but really enjoyed the rest of the album! walkin back to georgia and new york's not my home are some new favorites. also just an inspiring album to listen to as someone who plays guitar. thanks jim!
listened to this because I'd had tell me something good stuck in my head for days (one of the best songs of all time btw, we all know this). some phenomenal vocals by chaka khan and wonderfully funky instrumentals.
I think this will probably grow on me over time. the cameron winter features had me cheering and hollering. there is some very good and some very sad stuff on here
delightful mix of decades and genres!! i'm going away to a faraway place and scatterbrain? songs of the summer.
now we're talking. I've been listening to this nonstop lately. everyone's favorite thrash metal album about space colonization.
slowly trying to get through all the king gizz albums. the consistency on this one is a bit tricky. it has some favorites (keppler-22b ily) and some not favorites. but fun as always!
have not listened to her since los angeles but wow. still one of the prettiest voices out there! I do wish the orchestration was taken a lot farther in general, but it's still so much more exciting than most pop albums.
peepaw mccartney still got it. wonderful songwriting, lovely instrumentation (at times!), and awful production (someone let the lemon twigs produce a mccartney album I beg you)
generally liked this one, but can feel a bit 'samey' at times (I think three songs are in the same key and have the same chorus). eat the hate and empty hands are great
overwhelming amount of chord changes (in a good way). big fan of funny friends, walking on the moon, and pozole
some really fun electronic music! also really cool to hear aurora's voice in this context. looove a boy like you
okay was initially neutral about this one, but it is growing on me. bring you down and joy are some standouts
this is such a delight. tezeta came on one day just as it started to rain and it was a really lovely moment
I've heard so many of these before but never in an album context. harder better faster stronger truly a song of all time
obsessed with her vibrato. and I guess her voice in general, but the vibrato is really to die for. lonely comin' down and I will always love you are so lovely.
I'm so late to the party but this is obviously so good. loooove within and instant crush (of course)
another solid mitski album. if i leave is such a standout for me
wonderful! so fun, so expressive. favorites are sense (is), moses, and w-w-w-w-w
need to return to this one; only really clicked with undo
somehow had never listened to the full album until this year? extremely fond of sober to death and beach life-in-death.
